• Wheel - The sequence 5-4-3-2-A. This could technically be considered a round-the-corner straight, but is frequently played even if other round-the-corner straights are not allowed, particularly in pai gow poker. When wheels are recognized as distinct from round-the-corner straights, they are ranked as straights: in most games they are considered five-high, and thus the lowest possible straights, but in pai gow poker they rank between king-high and ace-high straights.

This is a bit confusing to me.

• First, 5-4-3-2-A is a conventional straight.
• Whether a wheel is considered around-the-corner or not, it still winds up being the lowest straight (the hand immediately after it is 6-5-4-3-2 and the hand immediately before is either 4-3-2-A-K or A-A-A-K-Q, depending on what other hands there are), so saying "When wheels are recognized as distinct from round-the-corner straights, ... they are considered five high" seems to just add an unnecessary conditional. It seems that the only exception of note is pai gow poker.

However, I don't want to change anything because I've never played a poker game where the wheel was special.
