Apparently there is some confusion, even by me, as to who won what medal in the 1980 Olympics. The medal round is a round-robin, and medals are determined by who has the most "points" at the end of the playoff, similar to the NHL's point system. U.S.A. had 5 pts., USSR had 4 pts., and Sweden had 3pts. The Gold went to the USA, the Silver to the USSR, and the bronze to Sweden. Here's a reference from Olympic.org [1]
