C6 Cave listed on WP:VFD July 12 to July 18 2004, consensus was to delete. Discussion:

Someone else listed this, but I agree it should be deleted. Reads pretty badly for an article about a single university department. There's a second article - VRAC - by the same user. - Lucky 6.9 00:26, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete: Pretty much nonsense, even if the sentences parse. "There's a room" somewhere, where there are projectors, but one of them's broken "right now." Wouldn't even make a bulletin board notice. Geogre 00:46, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. We should also list C6 which seems to be about the same room. Andrewa 01:14, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. It seems non-notable. However, there should really be an article about Virtual reality rooms. A large number of universities has this kind of VR experimentation rooms, in different configurations. They are used in several scientific and art fields. A common system is CAVE (here is an article in w:de:CAVE and here is a nice offsite link), projecting on 5 sides of a cube. "C6" seems to be a system projecting on 6 sides of a cube, but this is nothing new — the first installation of such a system was at a Swedish university in 1998. In fact, I'm going to write an article or two on this topic. Perhaps in the future C6 Cave could redirect to one of them (or not).
  • Merge and redirect to C6. --Ben Brockert 21:50, Jul 13, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. No evidence of notability. Wile E. Heresiarch 13:35, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)
