The statement about Islamic states and Alabama, besides smacking of sarcastic POV and being offensive to Alabama's citizens, is inaccurate. There are a number of sex shops in Alabama, including three owned by the company I work for. I've corrected the entry.

Are there REALLY trolls running the sex industry? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.106.186.6 (talk) 22:53, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What's "the OCR"? None of wikipedia's OCR pages seem relevant. Jrockway 08:57, 25 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sex shops can also refer to situations in where landlords of facilities used by sweatshop workers accept sex instead of late fees or lockouts from tenants who do not pay their bills on time. Many women in this situation have complained to the Office for Civil Rights.

About the image[edit]

The picture shows two people and their faces are clearly visible, therefore their identity as well, so I'm thinking -- unless they don't mind being exposed to the whole word -- their faces should be edited somehow to hide their identities.--96.232.62.212 (talk) 03:43, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's a possibility they knew they were having there picture taken and consented, in any event it was taken in a public place and does not need to be censored. (216.164.151.206 (talk) 00:23, 15 February 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Seriously? So Wikipedia is happy to quickly delete photos of TV shows, products, etc. because they don't display any copyright information but they have no problem showing the faces of ordinary people. US law (which Wikipedia adheres to) is crazy - big business rules over the ordinary person. That said I doubt the people in the picture would mind (a single man might not like it but for a couple there's less shame in going to a sex shop) but it is always best to ask first or fuzz out the faces.--217.203.156.61 (talk) 00:26, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2011[edit]

It is very common that sex shops contain a private video booth section where patrons, usually men, can view pre-set movie/dvd content. These video are pay per view. Many men masturbate while inside these booths and ejaculate either on the floor or on the video screen. It is also common that men double up in the booths to take part in various sex acts.

There is no citation on this section and a questionable basis in reality. --38.98.177.232 (talk) 02:30, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
