Talk:Gender and Women's Studies

Merge and redirect?

Why is this a separate topic from women's studies and gender studies? Is it deserving of an encyclopedia article in its own right? It seems like a 100% overlapping topic to me. I don't see any need for anything more than a note in both of those articles indicating (correctly) that they are frequently combined under one rubric.
