Hey, Dfarmer. I noticed you're the contact person listed under Wikipedia:WikiProject Comic strips, and I'd like to get involved, sort of. My primary interest, I admit, is in American superhero comic books, but I know a little bit about the wider comics world. I wonder what the intended scope of WP:WPCS is, whether it's devoted to newspaper-style strips, or comics in general. If the latter, I wonder whether it wouldn't be better to call it Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics (or perhaps Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics and Sequential Art or something), maybe with smaller sub-projects like manga, comic strips (including webcomics), superhero comics, etc.

There seem to be several Wikipedians interested in the subject: User:Ike9898, User:Theanthrope, User:Lvr, User:Lowellian, User:MK, etc. (unfortunately, mhr seems to have left us]]).

Actually, since you don't seem to have logged in in a while, I'm not sure when you'll see this message. So I think what I'll do is go ahead and create Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics, and see if I can get some discussion started there with some of the abovementioned people. You're welcome to join, and if there's consensus that that name is actually not the right one to use, then we can change it. I'd just like to have a centralized place where we can discuss such things.

See you around!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
