Elections[edit]

Howdy. You seem to be interested in adding articles about US Presidential elections, but are you aware that a comprehensive set of articles already exists at Elections in the United States? androidtalk 04:34, Mar 22, 2005 (UTC)

Hey Carl[edit]

Hope you like what I did with the NSHS page.
This is Scott by the way.

See you around,

Yea, we have a motto. It is on the front entrace... Something about equity, equality, energy, empathy... or maybe R.E.S.P.E.C.T.!
Point is, the motto isn't anywhere to be found on the website -- so perhaps we will write it down sometime.

Have a nice weekend.
-t-bte288-c 04:15, 3 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Not a problem, the whole point of this place is that we can all contribute. Now I have to go work on that take-home test.

See you tomorrow,

Moving of MARTA[edit]

I have moved the MARTA article back for now since the article's history was lost when you moved it. When moving an article, it is important to use the move button, not just copy-and-paste. See WP:MOVE for more on this. In the case of the MARTA article, it will require an admin to move it because of the history of the destination page. In order to move the page properly, please use Requested Moves. Thanks! -SCEhardT 04:44, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

RE Factory acts[edit]

No problem, I also found it a little strange that this Factory Act had its own article, while the other ones seemed to redirect to that page. I just decided to clean it up and leave its fate to those who knew more about it than I do. --Colonel Cow 19:00, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: MARTA stations[edit]

Cool! I mirrored the New York Subway folks for their templates. I'm using the station names as they appear on the official MARTA maps [1] and getting opening dates from [2]. Thanks a bunch for any articles you have time to do!

Wow! That looks great! Jolomo 03:36, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging for Image:Evagalambos.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Evagalambos.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Non-free use disputed for Image:Sandyspringslogo.jpg[edit]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Sandyspringslogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority GAR notice[edit]

Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority has been nominated for a good article reassessment. Please leave your comments and help us to return the article to good article quality. If concerns are not addressed during the review period, the good article status will be removed from the article. Reviewers' concerns are here.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 05:19, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Urban and Regional Information Systems Association requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Zachlipton (talk) 22:41, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:AFPLlogo.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:AFPLlogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Tankless water heating, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://jlplumbingcompany.com/tankless-heaters.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Disambiguation link notification for April 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Appliance (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Staub (cookware)[edit]

Hello Earlopogous,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Staub (cookware) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Jppcap (talk) 19:57, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Jppcap: Just to let you know I removed the nomination tag you placed on Staub (cookware) becuase wp:CSD#A7 does not apply in this case (I think?). XOttawahitech (talk) 23:57, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
