Removed stub tag[edit]

I've removed the stub warning. Not a lot of trouble to put it back if you wish.

But please, think hard about that action. The article already contains most of the information that is available (I almost said all, I've since thought of something else to add).

I'm sure a biblical scholar could add to this article. Unfortunately, there's never a biblical scholar when you need one. -- Cyan 01:57, 31 Aug 2003 (UTC)
Could be. I have a little booklet called The Prayer of Jabez which I have not yet read although it was heavily recommended by several people. If there's any suitable info in it I'll add it. My Concordance lists only these two occurrences of the name in the Bible. But there may be some theology based on him. Watch this space.
I won't be upset if the stub warning goes back. But I suspect that some people have become a little hasty to add them. I've had them added to pages I had created only minutes previously, while I was in the middle of adding content in fact. If the only update you intend to make to a new, short page is the stub warning, I'd think that it was advisable to wait until the page is at least a few hours old, in case the creator is in the middle of editing to add content. Otherwise it just wastes everyone's time, which is not the way to encourage people to contribute IMO. The same applies to delete requests... I had deletion suggested for a page on the grounds that it was only a definition. I think the page was all of 15 minutes old at the time.
At least it shows that there are people keen and watching! (;-> Andrewa 13:16, 31 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Perhaps the article shouldn't be there at all? But it's not a stub as such. Putting the stub link there just makes it harder for those of us who search for stubs by what links to the stub page. Andrewa 21:22, 30 Aug 2003 (UTC)

I trust your judgement, if you think it's not stubbish enough :) Dysprosia 23:44, 30 Aug 2003 (UTC)
