Pewaukee police suck.--216.56.4.101 (originally unsigned)

Is that why you vandalised the page? --BaronLarf 21:22, Feb 14, 2005 (UTC)

You should respect your local law enforcement. They are keeping the streets clean for you. - anonymous

Hurtgen’s Tavern, Store and Post Office[edit]

Has anyone heard of this place? I haven't, and I live in Pewaukee. Neither have I heard of Duplainville. Maybe it's misplaced?

Have you tried Google? Duplainville Hurtgen's has one mention as "Hurtgen's Pavilion", circa 1927, but is unsourced to the extent of this article. Hence, I've removed it until it can be sourced. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 22:37, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Location of Duplainville - Do you know where Pewaukee City Hall is on Pewaukee Road just south of Capitol? That road right as you come out of City Hall is Green Road. Take that east, and before you get to Springdale, you'll get to Duplainville Road. Quadgraphics is there, also Dupie's Bar, and a one room school which is now a private school. That's what used to be Duplainville.

I clarified and updated the part about the Historical Society. Wasn't sure how to do the citation, so I put the reference in parentheses. I take it I have to renumber all the footnotes? I didn't want to screw up someone else's careful footnotes. I'm new to Wikipedia-ing. Also, before that's done, there has to be a simpler way to explain the town/city thing. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Manrei (talkcontribs) 01:23, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question about Latitude/Longitude[edit]

The numbers listed for Latitude and Longitude for Pewaukee puts the viewer right in the middle of a farmer's field southeast of the village proper. I'm not sure how much refers to those links, but I'd believe 43.08301 degrees North, 88.25972 degrees West would be more appropriate - the location is the address of the Village Hall on Oakton Street. jwhouk (talk) 02:50, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
