Untitled[edit]

This article mentions nothing about the fact that it is a prop of the North Korean totalitarian dictatorship and is little more than a puppet organization. It is NOT "democratic." --Sesel 18:59, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)

It does, though, link to the Juche page which clearly details the KWP's role in the state. --Dafyddyoung 22:44, 18 Dec 2004 (GMT)

The article completly lacks real background info, and needs to be rewritten. This party was a major political force in North Korea directly after WWII, and played a role in the initial years of DPRK. It is only at a later stage it was completly suppressed and maintained as a show-case party of the regime. --212.60.73.3 12:46, 11 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics?[edit]

This article claims that 10.1% of the population follows Cheongdoism, but the Naver reference for that is not about 천도교 but rather about 천주교, Cheonjukyo, which is another way of referring to the Roman Catholic Church. The Korean version of this same article gives the number of adherants in Cheondoism at about 45,000. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.110.249.24 (talk) 12:52, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unexplained revert of my edit[edit]

Hi Jayaguru-Shishya! “What just happened here?” – Answer: My attempt to improve the article. If I've overlinked, please only fix the part you deem inappropriate, instead of reverting my entire edit. Since I don't know what in particular you disagree with, I'm going to reinstate most of my edit and add some more things, and you're very welcome to fix what you think is bad – I hope you don't think all of my changes to the article are bad.

I guess one of the things you didn't like about my edit was overlinking. I am going to reduce that this time, but I really think at least the link to Chondoism (which you had removed earlier) should stay. WP:OLINK advises against linking names of religions “unless they are particularly relevant”, which I think is the case for an organization that has its roots in Chondoism, is named after it and whose leadership overlaps with that of the religious association.

Have a nice weekend! 82.83.109.11 (talk) 02:59, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
