if no one can give me a good reason why this page even exists, I'm redirecting before I go to work, I'm redirecting. I just don't get this BS of duplicating articles on separate pages when there is a perfectly valid mechanism for having two links point to one page. Except, of course, that having the pages listed under their current geographical names is anathema to some people. JHK

  • I have made a redirect. There might be some discussion that since changing the name was connected with the exodus or expulsion of most of the city's residents and with the attpemts to wipe out the German culture, thus, there should be two separate articles on German Koenigsberg and Russian Kaliningrad. But the Koenigsberg article at present has no value at all, the Kaliningrad articles shows the Koenigsberg part heaps better abakharev 11:29, 18 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
