Dear IP - you have reverted my links and some corrections - by cleaning up your text I was just trying to help. Your text needs to be adjusted to wikipedia style, that is it needs links to other articles etc.--Fenice 17:06, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Needs some work.[edit]

This article contains a wealth of information but needs quite a bit of work. Is it about the Hawazma or the baggra? The subject keeps changing. The information about the civil war impact on these people is very personal and POV. Maybe it could be put into another article? Is the original author still around?

I suggest that more information on the hierarchy of the tribe and it s branches to be added. Also more information on the norms and culture are important to be included.

The bit about the civil war is terribly biased, nothing more than a piece of propaganda without any sustained evidence. Either the author amends it and makes for a more balanced analysis (and provides sources) or I will delete that section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.137.242.22 (talk) 11:49, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

From the author:[edit]

Thank you for your interest and inquiry about the article. Hawazma is one of seven major group comprising Baggara, the description of Baggara and Hawazma are interchangeable by definition. For the neutrality of the article, I am first hand witness to all what had happen in the region (I am a member of the Hawazma). Second, I am a qualified writer, I have written numerous articles on Sudanese Media to disclose what had happen to the Baggara. In terms of education, I hold two Masters degrees (from USA and Europe), and I have a PhD degree underway. Anyone feel free to email me at: Badam571@cs.com

I will visit the article and try to update any information. thanks for wikipedia.

Thank you

all for your work. You should understand, however, that text in Wikipedia is rarely attributed to its author, and your contributions will probably eventually be edited so as to be unrecognizable as yours. If you don't mind that a bit, Wikipedia is great fun! Dan | Talk 05:59, 20 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Dear Author. Are you able to include any pictures or diagrams (perhaps a map) to illustrate this article? There is a lot of interesting text here and it could do with some illustration. Nicholsr 00:58, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Merge with Baggara?[edit]

Seems like this article should be merged with the much shorter Baggara article, since it describes both the Hawazma specifically and the Baggara (and in much more detail than the Baggara article). ---- Khowaga

from the Author[edit]

My email is changed to bir.adam@hotmail.com. I am interested to hear from people who have interest on Baggara issues. These days I am writing about Baggara people in many Sudanese discussion boards, though in arabic, if anyone want to follow my progress plz send me an email. Thursday Oct. 19/2006 Biraima M Adam

To Resolve the POV Dispute[edit]

The neutrality dispute is basically related to naration of Civil War effect on Hawazma and Baggara in South Kordofan. Since the War ended in 2005 by the CPA Agreement between the National Islamic Front (NIF) and Sudanese People Libration Army/Movement SPLA/SPLM, things now are unfolding. I am not intended to remove the section entitled: Civil War, but rather I will try to collect the scattered pieces of information and try to build a more solid case. I need everyone help who visited the area or witnessed the war.
