not sure what the author was trying to say[edit]

"Also known as 'long horned grasshoppers' and 'bush crickets', of the Tettigoniids the term 'katydid' is more generally applied[...]"

This doesn't seem to make sense, and I'm not sure what the author was trying to say. Needs rewrite by someone knowledgeable on topic. --zenohockey 21:55, 18 Sep 2004 (UFH)
