Sub-categorising[edit]

Should a Category:Parliaments of Western Australia or Category:Parliament of Western Australia sub-category be created? If so, which title is prefered?--Cyberjunkie 09:00, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Creating a new subcategory[edit]

I propose to tidy up this category by creating a new sub category called - Category:Parliaments of the Australian States and Territories. This category would contain articles on the state Parliaments but not lists of previous parliaments. The category would then be listed at Category:Legislatures of subnational entities in place of Category:Australian Parliaments. Do others generally agree? Adz 07:46, 2 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, with reservations. In the case of Queensland, the Queensland Legislative Assembly should get the geurnsey, as it is The Parliament, and the article Parliament of Queensland should have the historical overview (including the Legislative Council of Queensland and the Suicied Squad).Alex Law 01:11, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
