WIXO[edit]

Hey, Netchris. I just wanted to get this whole "X" thing straight. So 105.7 the X now has WIXO instead of 99.9, and 101.1 has WXMP instead of 105.7, and 99.9 has a whole new set of call letters? I really have no idea, I just wanted you to update me on this. And, by the way, would you be able to tell me the diff. between the mix that The Mix 101.1 would play and the mix that 99.9 Pirate Radio would play? It seems diff., just wondeirng if you would know. Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:OldWIXOLogo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Media in Peoria[edit]

Thanks for your comment. Per your message at User talk:Closeapple#Media in Peoria Page, I posted a message at Talk:Media in Peoria, Illinois#Scope, which explains why I had those listed. You might have the right idea though. Editors will have to make sure the smaller cities with their own media (Canton, etc.) also still link to the list articles for nearby "big city" media, though, so they don't suffer from copy-paste syndrome trying to keep synchronized with nearby large markets all the time. --Closeapple (talk) 09:35, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You mentioned in an edit summary that 90.7 WAZU Peoria is on the air. I created an article, since it appears a license-to-cover is filed and imminent. Did you discover it by picking it up? Any idea of what programming is on it or what its hours are?
