The artilce looks good, how does this article fit in with this one Government of Queensland? I'll see if I can get a pic of parliment house when I'm in Brisbane later this month. --nixie 11:59, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I've actually taken a couple, but I'm not entirely happy with them. I might put one up anyway.
This article is a work-in-progress, and I plan to return to it later. Properly "politics of Queensland" should be limited to information on parties and political history, with a cursory overview of the mechanism of government; the constitutional nitty-gritty should be at Government of Queensland. Hmmm. Way out of date post the 24 March 2012 election! And probably now has the lowest female representation of the Australian states! GermanicusCaesar (talk) 06:55, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Page scope[edit]

As noted above in 2005 by @Slac, this page "should be limited to information on parties and political history, with a cursory overview of the mechanism of government; the constitutional nitty-gritty should be at [ Queensland Government]". It is my view that everything except the sections on Local government, Federal representation, Idiosyncrasies and Recent history should be moved to the Queensland Government page and that the page should be reworked to allign it with similar articles at Politics of New South Wales, Politics of Victoria and Politics of Western Australia. -DilatoryRevolution (talk) 01:56, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
