Lead[edit]

Type font[edit]

I removed this from the Actes and Monuments section:

[...] it is still considered one of the most beautiful Anglo-Saxon fonts ever produced

It would be nice to have some reference for this, otherwise it becomes a weasel term. JoaoRicardo 03:57, 7 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Year of death[edit]

Criteria[edit]

I think it meets all of the criteria. RE: too short: Is there anything in particular you would like to see included in the article that isn't already there? Note that articles are judged on comprehensiveness (in this case, whether the major aspects of John Day's life is covered adequately), not some arbitrary set length.
