In case something like meta:Extended template syntax (see Bugzilla #364) is implemented this template should be merged with Template:Infobox German district noregbez. The variables regierungsbezirk (and additionally region) then should be optional. Some districts also use former regierungsbezirk in case the Regierungsbezirk was recently dissolved. As long as no such feature exists changes in the infobox design need to be made to both templates. andy 11:44, 22 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Map captions[edit]

The captions to the map image (Map of {{{state}}} highlighting the district {{{name}}}) are not working. Can somebody fix this? Gene Nygaard 16:18, 31 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Coats of arms[edit]

Is it possible to add a parameter for the coats of arms of the Landkreise ? Dэя-Бøяg - 18:43, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Flag[edit]

Since there is now a parameter for the coat of arms we might also want to have an opportunity to display the appropriate flag alongside the shield. If nobody objects, I'm going to enable the |image_flag parameter from Infobox settlement for this template. De728631 (talk) 16:21, 2 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Leader[edit]

Is it possible to enable the Leader, Leader party and Leadertitle options from the info box settlement? That would allow to mention the Landrat or the Regionalverbandsdirektor (Saarbrücken)--Micge (talk) 10:40, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Actually a parameter |Landrat= is already enabled in the template but it hasn't been added to the blank code in the documentation. The automated default title for this position is 'District admin.' which doesn't need to be changed imo. I'm now going to add the 'leader_party' parameter. I've added two alternative parameters that are now also listed in the documentation: |district_admin= and |admin_party=. 12:57, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for the quick fix. --Micge (talk) 14:56, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
