A political figure is a figure involved in politics. There's not much more to it than that. I tried to think of ways this could be expanded (a list? change in meaning throughout history?), but this looks doomed to be a dicdef.

• Clean up some more: I don't like people making wikilinks to common terms that don't have a specialized use in the article, but it's the habit. Thus, the diffuse term "political figure" gets linked too often, so we need something here. Geogre 15:51, 1 Nov 2004 (UTC)
